We popped the popcorn in our classroom for the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast! It was fun to see how it starts off as a kernel and then POP it becomes popcorn!! :)
We played in the commons on this gloomy rainy day.
We marched on over through the rain to the church basement for our Feast!! Mrs. Haun showed us where to go!
We sat with all the other preschool classes and watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!
We did such a fantastic job of sitting quietly and listening!
Then we all prayed together and went and found our seats and dug in!
We had "toast" (cinnamon graham cracker) with butter, jelly beans, pretzel sticks, popcorn, and jello with whipped cream and a cherry on top! Everything that Snoopy prepared for Charlie Brown and friends!
During free choice we had a lot of fun! We had some sick babies being taken care of by the mamas and then we had some people working in the shop, some birthday celebrations, some building, exploring on the light table, all good things!!
In Jesus time we talked about the story from the Bible of Ruth and Naomi. Naomi was sad. But her son's wife Ruth made her happy. They went to live in a new place together. Ruth helped Naomi. She worked hard to find food. She made bread from leftover wheat she found in the fields. A man named Boaz saw Ruth working. Boaz helped Ruth by allowing her to always pick up grain in his fields. Later, Boaz and Ruth got married. Many years later, Jesus was born from Boaz and Ruth's family.
Our voting results are in! Green beans are the winners! They had the most votes with 14!
