Mrs. Hoehner lent us some fun toys called "bunch 'ems". They were so fun to put together and add all of the accessories to create different creatures!
We had a substitute aide today...Miss Thoelke. She is home on Spring Break...she is studying to be an elementary teacher!
During Jesus Time today we had a singing marathon...the boys and girls took turns reaching into a "hat" and pulling out one of the songs that we have learned throughout the year during Jesus Time. We had a blast remembering all the songs we have learned. These boys and girls are such wonderful singers!
Our meteorologist this morning reported on the dreary day.
Our calendar helper made an impressive pattern this morning!
We had a good time in the commons.
Today we read a story about the artist Henri Matisse. We learned that he liked to use lots of colors. In his latter years Henri used scissors to create art. We made a piece of artwork using the same materials! Paper, scissors, and glue. :)
Some boys and girls chose to listen to the books on cd station during free choice.
We had some fun meals going on in the dramatic play area!
Wow look at that tower. We used teamwork!
We played What Time is it Mr. Fox in the gym for a while today with Mrs. Mudd's class.
Then we ran around and burned off some energy in the gym. Good times.
