We had a fun day back to school!
Starting off we signed a card for Tyler who helps us out in the lunch room...it was his birthday.

Miss Kirby brought back some corn from her farm in Nebraska for our sensory table!  It is still on the cob and we had to work to get it off...lots of work on those fine motor skills and persistence!

The kitchen is back open and some of us had a birthday celebration...

and a picnic...the boys and girls did a fantastic job of problem solving...there wasn't enough room for everyone who wanted to play in the dramatic play area...so they moved it out on to our gathering rug and everyone could join in!

We can work together so well!

We played outside with a few balls and also played "What time is it Mr. Fox"!

Our calendar helper worked hard today to keep us together with our counting and our pattern!

The meteorologist dressed mat man with sun glasses and a jacket...it's chilly out there!

We retold the story of Moses as a baby today...tomorrow we go on with Moses' story!!

It is fun how we have all gotten to know each other and become good friends!

Today we investigated a pumpkin...we took a look at and felt the outside of the pumpkin and described it...then we cut it open and felt and observed the inside...it even had a smell! The outside didn't smell like much...

Icky! Slimy! Gooey!

I found seeds!!

We pulled the insides out...

We separated the seeds out...I think i'll roast them so we can try them!

The we each took a turn counting some pumpkin seeds...

Playing school!!! (my favorite...it's fun to hear the kids imitate me!)
