It was a beautiful day!  Our Meteorologist checked the weather and told us it was a sunny lovely day. :)

We found friends in other classes on the playground!

We investigated a pumpkin again today! We used our eyes to observe the outside of the pumpkin and our hands to feel the outside of the pumpkin...tried to smell it...one said, "dirt."

Then we cut it open and did the same thing with the inside of the pumpkin.  It is a lot different on the inside than it is on the outside!

We felt around in the pumpkin...some of us did not like how it felt...others loved it.  We put all of our observations down in our journal.

Then we separated the seeds from the goop...

and practiced our counting!

It's fun to put our jack o lantern back together again!

Today during Jesus time we learned that God used Moses to help his people the Israelites!  God kept them safe as they were trying to escape Egypt and the bad king.  He helped them to cross the Red Sea!!!  God had Moses hold his hands out and God parted the waters of the sea so that there was a path for them to walk on!  The Israelites were able to cross safely and escape from Pharaoh's soldiers!

Making letters using wooden pieces!

Adding a couple more words that begin with H before we move on to a new letter tomorrow!

Miss Kirby brought back some corn from her farm in Nebraska for our class.  We are working hard to get it off of the cob!!

Gorgeous day to spend more time outdoors!
