Always building homes for animals...

and making tracks for trains.

Working on geoboards is awesome for creating art, exploring art and shapes, and developing visual skills.  They are also super for working on fine motor skills!
Many of our friends chose to paint pictures this morning.

Others created words on the light table.

Of course...the trains are always popular. :)

Calendar helper.

Meteorologist.

The boys and girls did a great job telling ME the story of Jacob and Esau.  How Jacob had to run away because he tricked the dad and how he found a rock to lay his head on and he had a dream...he saw a tall ladder that angels were going up and down.  At the top of the ladder was God and God reminded Jacob that He was with him always...even when we make mistakes.

It was a bit chilly this morning but we had a lot of fun running around and digging.

Our snacks were yummy! Thank you Mom and Dad for taking care of us and sending us to school with delicious healthy snacks!

We have been talking about emotions this week...one of the emotions we have talked about is feeling afraid.  We read the book "Go Away Big Green Monster" by Ed Emberly.   We told that monster to go away and not come back! :)

We are starting a multi-step monster art project.

The boys and girls squirted paint onto a large piece of paper...then folded it in half and rubbed all over the paper distributing the paint all over...when we opened it up...a beautiful design was created!!!

Working hard with friends.

Making creations with friends.

Squeezing that paint out.

A show is about to begin!

Candyland is fun to play just by looking at the board! These boys and girls have such fantastic imaginations.

Train car forts!

These are our afraid faces!!

We checked out our shadows on the way to the playground.

Look at that nice line!!

It turned out to be just a beautiful day!
