Working on those social skills in the morning!

Play dough can be amazing stuff...it really can turn into anything!

Look at this lovely cake!

Candyland is a fantastic game to learn to take turns (patience), color recognition, and following the rules.

Our artist of the week! Her painting is called "Colored Rain".

Our Calendar helper was a fantastic leader this morning.

Practicing those numbers!

Checking out the weather.

Mr. Nelson led us in chapel this morning. He is the DCE at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church.

He talked about how when we have a job to do many times we find our tool box and pick out the tools that we need to finish the job.

God had a job...get us to heaven...we couldn't do it on our own...He looked into his "tool box" and he used his Son, Jesus.  He was the perfect one for the job...because of Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the dead...we get to be in heaven with Him someday!

Our offering helper today!

Snack helper...we each do our jobs so well!!

Today we had a special visitor...one of our friend's Nanny!!! (grandma)

She is a retired teacher and she brought a story to read to us.  "The Legend of Spookely the Square Pumpkin".

This book reminds us of how we God created each and everyone of us unique with our own special gifts!

They were good listeners.

Nanny also had two different colored eggs on the outside but when she cracked them they were the same on the inside!  That's how God makes us too!!! :)

Then we worked on a square pumpkin craft.

and a fun little project that they made for our classroom!!

We hung up our own unique pumpkins on the door for our own special pumpkin patch.

We finished our map for the train station by adding destinations to the train lines...we have many fun places to visit on our train...Disneyworld, Punta Cana, Legoland, St. Peters, MO, Canada...such exotic places.

We headed to the gym to run around and build those muscles!
