Monday October 3, 2016

Many friends worked on the marble run today...it was pretty popular!  We also had new playdough made for our classroom for the month of October...so much fun!

A bunch of friends shared their environmental print!

The meteorologist this morning. First day of October in school...cloudy.

Today in Jesus Time we listened to the story of God's promise to Abraham that he would have descendants as many as the stars in the sky.  This was very hard for Abraham to believe because he was old and he had no children!  But God gave Abraham and Sarah a son!

Here we are doing a fun activity of adding stars to the sky!

Dancing to Father Abraham!

It was such a lovely morning! Not too hot...not too cold. :)

Many friends practiced riding bikes today...

dug in the rocks...

balanced...

climbed on the climber...

pretended to be kitties...

filled a pot for potions...

dragons...

gymnasts...

Freeze dancing today...the boys and girls follow directions and move their body when the music plays...when it stops...freeze!!! Like a statue.

More marble run teamwork.

Working at the writing center.

A boat!!

During free choice today I worked with the boys and girls finding out what letters they recognize.

We headed outdoors again...it was just so nice outside today!
