Some times it is just so fun to see how proud the boys and girls are of things they create and write. :)
Calendar time...last time we count days in September!
Our weather graph is finished for September...we looked at the results of our graph and September had mostly sunny days!
We practiced asking using a strong respectful voice to ask for something. We also had to look at the person we were asking. These are excellent skills to have.
My teacher assistant knew everyone's names today. She did a great job!

Building birds' nests. 
During snack time we watched a bit of a Mighty Machines video about a train yard. We saw a real coupler and how they fit together. We also saw some railroad tracks being fixed.
We started to make some railroad tracks with all the parts...the ties (which are large wooden beams), the rails (the metal part that the trains ride on), and the spikes (which keep the rails into the beam).
Our butterfly emerged from it's chrysalis!
