Rainbows and Railroads...that's what we did today!

We made a few rainbows to help remind us of the promise that God made to Noah...and God keeps his promises.

Our calendar helper doing their job!

Mr. Marolf led us in chapel this morning...

he talked about the many ways of being rich...the most important being a Child of God.  He loves us so much and cares for us and that is the greatest treasure of all!

Our offering helper this morning.

Got a quick game of Chickens come home in after chapel!  This game really gets those kids running!

Reading to ourselves before snack.

Today we started practicing subitizing.  Subitizing is the ability to 'see' a small amount of objects without really counting them.  Just like how you know when you roll a five on a six sided dice...you don't have to count the little dots!

We used our sense of touch to feel inside the sock...some of us had the correct guess!

A train!!!  We are going to start a project on trains.  The boys and girls had a lot of information to offer of what they already knew about trains!

Painting rainbows.

I also worked with the boys and girls finding out what letters they already knew.  This gives me a baseline so I know how far they have come in the spring!

We got our eyes checked by those folks in the lions club with that silly camera Clarence.

They did a great job. :)

It was a pretty warm day today...but that didn't stop our friends from having a lot of fun together!
