Got out the pattern blocks today...some of us decided to start designing right away!!
We had some new lego-type blocks today as well...
look at these creations!
This pattern block tower can hold a pteranodon!
We also had some lovely drawings this morning!
This morning each child gave their best estimate as to how many wood pieces were inside the estimation jar...we are getting pretty fantastic with our guesses!! (not to mention our number writing skills!)
Look at those numbers!!! We are really doing a great job writing those numbers!!
That silly meteorologist!!
We headed outdoors to run around quick before chapel!
Mr. Kuhlmann led our chapel this morning. He is the Athletic Director at Lutheran High School St. Charles. He showed us a pumpkin...we were hooked. :)
First he wiped off the pumpkin...got rid of the dirt...
then he cut the lid off...
and scooped out the goopy icky insides...
cut out a face...
and he was ready to share his pumpkin with his neighbors!
That pumpkin reminds us of how God takes away all of our dirt an icky stuff (our sin). Then we can shine with Jesus light inside of us and share it with our neighbors!!
Offering helper!
The snack helper helped pass out snacks for our harvest party!!
Thank you to the ladies who put together our harvest party!!! We sure had fun!!!
All of our friends have gotten a start on our monsters that we are creating!!!
We love building in preschool!!! (and we are proud of our work!!)
