Whew! We had such a busy day!  The boys and girls were such hard workers today!
Elizabeth and Emily and Maddie worked on an association game and after they had mastered that...they decided to turn the cards over and try to put them together only by their shape!!

Lucy and Scarlett had an entire storyline going on with the dolls! What great imaginations!

Danny and Mia had our little math counters making laps around the wood pieces.

Clark and Danny worked together to build a railroad.

After cutting up straws last week...the boys and girls are making bracelets with the straw pieces and beads and pipe cleaners...great fine motor practice.

Today we had two games that were available to play...Snails pace race and Sneaky snacky squirrel...games are a great way to teach kids to take turns and social skills like practicing not getting upset when we don't win our get our way.  The kids did a fantastic job!

Mia and some of her friends were all pretending to be cats in the dramatic play area.

We moved to music today during our music time...we did the chicken dance and the hokey pokey and many other songs!  Ask your child which one was their favorite.

Danny was our calendar helper today.

Lucy was our meteorologist.

Today Zippy came and talked with us about taking care of the world God created for us!

Outdoor time was hot today!! Keep sending in those water bottles! (I'm sorry about forgetting the water bottles in the classroom this weekend...I was distracted because i was disinfecting our room on Friday!)

I also got some new alphabet stamps and a stamp pad!  The boys and girls and I found the letters in their name and stamped them in their journal.

Here are those kitties and their owners again...

Getting ready for rest time...the boys and girls are learning to help each other get ready and it goes faster! :)
