We went for a walk outside and tried to find things that God made. Some of the boys and girls told me they saw the big blue sky, clouds, clover, grass, trees, mud, puddles...there is so much out there! :)
Then during small group time the kids wrote in their journals something they saw outside.
One of the three groups put glitter on a picture of our eyes...because we use our eyes that God created to see something sparkle! We practiced using the glue bottles and making glue dots and trying to use our fine motor skills to control the flow.
The last group made a creation in the gears. Everyone rotated to each group.
Since we were going to be making a part of our all about me book and we were working on the eyes page...I put a pair of sunglasses in the "feely sock". The kids reach into the sock and feel what's inside and try to guess what it is by feeling with just their sense of touch. Everyone got a turn.
We measured a couple more of our friends today!
We got to play in the gym today and run as fast as we could!
Or work on those new friendships. :)
