Tuesday August 25, 2015

Caroline was our line leader today.

This morning was our first chapel!

The boys and girls did a really good job sitting quietly and following directions...there is a lot of standing and sitting...and worshiping in church is another skill that we are learning.

Mrs. Kuhlmann and her third graders led us in chapel today.

They demonstrated that there is an order for our worship service.

They led us in the actions for our songs.

This is Elizabeth praying...she did a great job folding her hands, bowing her head, and closing her eyes.

Gavin was our first chapel helper, he got to bring the offering up to the altar.

Fay celebrated her 4th birthday over the  weekend and brought in rice krispy treats for all of us! YUM!

During our small group time kids had the opportunity to look into mirrors and draw a self portrait.  It is so fun to see how far your child will come from the first self portrait of the year to the last self portrait of the year.

Chapel was during our outdoor time...so we had to sneak a little duck duck goose in.

Jack S. was our calendar helper today.

We continue to talk about how God made us and how He gave us our nose for smelling.

We used our noses to smell some cinnamon and then glued some onto a nose for our all about me book.

Practicing those cutting skills. This helps to build those fine motor skills and muscles.
