Mia created quite the design today with the wood pieces.

Jack worked for quite a while on this tricky puzzle.

We had a new smart board activity for the morning.  The boys and girls had to drag their firefly into the jar. It's tricky to get used to the smart board at first...but they will have this mastered very quickly.

Jack S. was our line leader today.

Elizabeth was our door holder...she was such an enthusiastic helper.

Mrs. Haun made another visit to our classroom.  She read a book to us about feelings and how there are so many different kinds!

And the person who knows our feelings and we can always share our feelings with and who loves us so much...Jesus!

Jack H. was our meteorologist. He thought it was sunny and chilly.

We are almost done with our creation bible story...today we told the story with props again.

For small groups today I read the story "the Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds.  It is a great story about a little girl who creates wonderful art and it all starts with a dot.  We broke up into groups and the boys and girls took a premade circle in their journal and turned it into something else!

Another group used some of the recycled materials that were circles and created circle art with paint!

It was fun to see all the different examples from the kids!!

The literacy center was popular today...some kids may be coming home with cards and envelopes.
