Building with legos encourages kids to create and there are endless possibilities. They can build and take apart, no directions, no mistakes, it's all up to the child!

We got to guess how many sockets from a socket wrench set were in the jar today!

We had some excellent guessers today. (is that a word?)

Our meteorologist showed us that it was a chilly day today!

Today for Jesus Time we talked about the story of "The Widow's Offering".  I made the characters out of playdough while retelling the story.  The boys and girls really practiced their listening skills this morning! I was so proud of them!

The woman didn't have much money; she gave all that she had, but she didn't worry about not having anything left.  She knew Jesus would take care of her.

We headed outdoors to climb around and use our bodies to build those muscles and large motor skills.

And of course build friendships.

The boys and girls practice reading books on their own after we are outside...before we head over to snack.

Then we decided to paint portraits of knights today for our walls.  We have Sir Emily

and Sir Jackson, knights of the round table!

We can't wait to hang all of our portraits up!

A little collaborative work.

More has been added to the tapestry!

Helpers in the classroom!

Working hard on some letters!

Wow!!! Look at these creations!

It's hard work...playing in the castle.

Then we headed to the gym and played around with some hoops!

I even tried to play with the hoops and hit the ground. :) Whoops! Not quite as agile as I once was...
