Wednesday March 2, 2016

Our friends were a little sad...we gave the play planks back to Mrs. Stanglein's room so they could build a fire house...so they wanted to figure out something else to build a house for bubba.  They decided on the recyclables!  They worked together and took turns to get the tape...building this elaborate structure for bubba bunny. :)

We had to estimate how many rubberbands were in the estimation jar today!

One more day in March!

It was a chilly morning!

We headed outside right away because it was a chapel day!

This morning during chapel we had a special guest of Gary the puppet!

Gary had on a bandaid, he told Pastor Rouand thatwell, you know, band-aids make you feel better.  Whenever something hurts, like a scraped knee or a little cut you can ask your mom for a band-aid and it always make it feel way better.
Pastor Rouland noticed that Gary's band-aids made the shape of the cross and Gary told him thatonly Jesus can heal us from our sins.  And that’s what the cross reminded him of, it reminded him that Jesus loves us so much and takes such good care of us that there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to help us.  He even died on the cross for our forgiveness!

The kids were really good listeners today!

One of the things we talked about that is different from the times when people lived in castles and now is that they didn't have cameras to take pictures!  So we painted a portrait of Lady Schilling to hang on our walls.  We also started a "tapestry" to hang on the wall...the boys and girls are practicing sewing on our tapestry.

I'm cooking some corn over the fire!!

We made the letter K with our bodies!!

We also did our estimation jar today!  We had some close guesses and we had one that was right on!!! :)  Can't wait to see what is brought in tomorrow!!

Then we headed outside to run around and burn off some of that energy!
