Monday March 7, 2016

I went to the Missouri District Early Childhood Conference this past weekend and attended a session on S.T.E.A.M. activities.  The presenter gifted us with some cups to explore with...

this tower is quite tall!

Making our guesses as to how many ponies are in the jar!!

(Mrs. Rouland, what are you doing?)

Now we are adding to our creation!

Doing a little dancing this morning!

We have the same stuffed animals!

Practicing our song for Grandparents/Special Friends Day!

Our calendar helper this morning!

What!?!?! 60 degrees!!!

Zippy came to talk with us about going to a parade!  Then we talked about a very special parade that Jesus was a part of on Palm Sunday!

Lots of playing in the castle...I wish the camera could capture the kids imaginations!

We used the warm surface to color on...the crayon melts a bit while you color and the color becomes "smooth".  Then we drew a football shape on the back and cut it out...voila...a palm branch!

It's hard work at the castle!

How many are in there?

We had 8 ponies in the jar!  The kids had great guesses!

We also got to enjoy the beautiful weather before lunch!
