We were so busy exploring how the catapult works this morning and our new play dough fun factory that we didn't get any pictures!!Our meeting times on the carpet are always opportunities for the boys and girls to practice many different skills that we will need for the rest of our school career!  We are practicing focusing our attention, taking turns, being part of a community, rote counting during calendar time, as well as practicing our number recognition, and writing numbers.
Our meteorologist put up another sunny day...that row is so long we had to figure out a way to keep adding on!!

During free choice the boys and girls explored the water table and the eggs and scoops inside!

We drew pictures of Jesus our Savior on the cross.

The catapult was pretty popular with some friends.  They did a great job taking turns using the catapult and then they were figuring out how to shoot the pom poms as far as they could!

Mrs. Schilling continued to work with the kids on their coat of arms.  We talked about how in medieval times families had their own design that stood for their own family, they were all different.

We have many many words already that begin with the letter a and v!  Keep them coming in!
