Thursday February 25, 2016

Some of the boys and girls used their time this morning to make pictures to share with their friends.  They wrote the words down by listening to the sounds they hear.

My calendar helper this morning.

Practicing our jumping jacks with our pattern.

The meteorologist let us know that it was quite chilly outside.

We continued our story of Zaccheaus this morning.  The boys and girls have done a wonderful job retelling the story with each other!

We have been using non-standard units of measurement (castles). The boys and girls have been making predictions as to how many castles tall they are...then we take the measurement.

Some of them have made accurate predictions!

We started an art project using shapes...we talked about the artist Paul Klee from Germany.  He used shapes to make pictures!  We used shapes to make castles!

Our tube of knights finally came in!!! We are able to use them with our pretend castles!

Then we finally made it outside!!

After we had such a fun time outside we made our way back in to clean up the mess from all of our play!!
