It is always fun to start a morning chatting with friends...
working together to create something...
doing something you're proud of.
We headed outside quickly this morning so we could get our bodies moving before chapel...
The boys and girls have become so brave and can use their bodies to climb and balance, jump and swing...it is so exciting.
Miss Kirby led us in chapel today...She read the story "A Color of His Own" by Leo Lionni. The story helped us to remember that God created each and everyone of us just the way we are...and that we are special to Him and we can feel safe knowing our Lord knows us so well and loves us just the way we are.
We put on our focus goggles at a couple points during the story.
Our chapel helper today took the offering up to the altar.
After snack some of our friends that weren't here yesterday went and had their hearing and vision checked by the school nurses. Then we came back and talked about some people that live in a castle. A Lord or a Lady, a Jester, a cook, a chaplain, or a knight.
Then we started making our own armor like the knights!
We also made cuff bracelets for the ladies.
I am still finishing up the February interviews with the boys and girls. :)
