It was a pretty chilly morning and very very wet. :)
We had to get our wiggles out and dance right away!!!
Then we sat and talked about Zacchaeus! He was a tax collector that wasn't very nice to the people from whom he collected taxes. He cheated them!! But Jesus wanted to meet with him anyway! Jesus wanted to show that he was there and loved EVERYONE even those people who were sometimes mean. Zippy came in wearing a mask of my face!! He thought he could have a lot of friends if he looked like me...but I told him that people are my friends because I am a kind friend! Not because of how I look! We all reminded Zippy that Jesus wants us to love one another...treat each other kindly!
We headed into the commons to run around...it was a bit wet outside this morning! ;)
Our hoop skills are becoming quite impressive.
We can make up something to do with ANYTHING! :)
TOday the boys and girls took a guess as to how many castles tall they were...then we measured them...some kids were correct!!
I don't have a picture of everyone painting or building for some reason. There were tremendous castles with canons being built! There were queens and princesses in the castle playing and working together! We have been really working on writing down the sounds we hear and try to write words on our own...trying to build the boys and girls confidence up...so when they ask me how to spell words I respond with "what's your guess? What sounds do you hear?"
