Today was another fun day of learning through play!

Singing our good morning song!

Another friend brought in a book!!! This one had many original drawings in it!  It was all about a sea monster and his friends...and it included his dog and family. :)

We jumped on numbers with a zero in them!

We are getting lots of practice writing our numbers!

The meteorologist reported a lovely day!

We sang quite a few songs today during Jesus Time...always remembering how much Jesus loves us and wants us to be kind and share His love with others!  Jesus love is a bubblin' over! (ask them to sing that song!)

Look at this door holder using her muscles to hold that door open.

These two friends are in different classes and were excited to see each other. :)

Snack time couldn't come soon enough for these kids today! :)

We said the "Superman" prayer before snack...they really have that one down.

Finishing up those cross pieces.  You'll have to come in and check out the finished product!

Then we got down the business of play!

We had some lovely paintings done today!

Wow!! Look what they made!

We read the story "If You Take a Paintbrush" by Fulvio Testa...the story talks about examples of color all around us...I had the paint brush in the mystery sock...the boys and girls reach in and use only their sense of touch to feel and then they have to guess what is inside...unfortunately we are still getting the hang of the mystery sock and it was taken out a little early.

Look at all these nurturing young ladies. :)

We headed outside again! It really was such a lovely day.

We had our last day of practicing being welcoming today from our Second Step program.  The boys and girls took stuffed animals around the room and showed them the different places to play and what we do there. :)

It was such a fun day.  Have a lovely weekend!
