It was another great day! The boys and girls are having a great time finding out about everything in the classroom!
Your children created many pancakes and cakes for me to gobble up this morning! :)
We started a few jobs this morning...our meteorologist checked the weather and added it to our weather graph.
We practiced listening and following directions...by doing a fun song called "the Freeze"...had to freeze when the music stopped...they did great!
We heard the story of how Jesus blessed the children...we talked about how Jesus loves all of us and thinks that children are special! All of the boys and girls in our class!
Zippy comes to talk with us about Jesus and how much He loves us!
Playing outdoors!!
After outdoor time the boys and girls look at books while we get ready for snack.
We were sure hungry again!
During small groups we had one group that worked with puzzles and got their pictures taken for various activities around our room, one group color a person to make something to help us remember how special we are to Jesus, and the last group used the blocks to build houses or schools! Ask your child if they built a house or a school. They did a great job staying with their group and rotating!
Then we got down to play...we had many friends in the dramatic play area today. I had a lot of coffee made by fabulous baristas!:)
We played in the gym today to beat the heat a little bit...we practiced using our bodies by running, hopping, galloping, and doing the crab walk! That's hard work!
We read many stories today as well...one of my favorite authors Mo Willems...we read his book "Knuffle Bunny Too"...it was a hit. :)
It was just such a lovely day, we are already getting better at following directions and having good manners.
