Monday August 22, 2016

I am always so amazed at the boys and girls imaginations!  Here one of our friends designed a house...with a ghost inside. :)

Look at all these cookies!

Our meteorologist reported on our weather this morning...still gorgeous outside! I hope you got to enjoy this weekend.

Here we are counting together with the calendar helper...

and jumping on the numbers that have a 1 in them!

Today during Jesus Time we talked about how we all have jobs...there are grown ups who have jobs like a doctor or a fire fighter or a policeman or garbage collector...even though we aren't grow up yet...we have a job too! To share Jesus' love with everyone we meet!! :)

Then we headed outside.

We were famished!

We are practicing pouring our own milk!

One of our friends brought in their book to share! (He then looked at it during rest time.)

We met JJ today...he was a friend who came to talk with us about being welcoming to new people...we practiced our conversation skills telling JJ about our classroom!

Then it was time to make our own choice...what we would like to do. :)We practiced cutting and gluing...building those fine motor skills.

Some of us love to scoop and pour in the sensory table all day long...figuring out how many scoops fit into different size containers.

This friend was setting up a feast for all the animals!

"I'm building!"

"Look at my mustache."

Lots happening in the kitchen today.

Making appointments for pets.

Trying to use a hole punch, those are tough!

I had some shape punches...the boys and girls had to use their muscles to punch out those shapes!

Some of us were finding numbers all over our room!

Stamps.

Look at all these creations!

We found Mexico on the globe!

Pretending school. (they love to use those pointers!)

It was a busy day!
