What a fun day!
We spent a lot of time getting to know each other and learning how things work here at school! So many of our friends were very good helpers...showing our new friends how things work!
We got to play outside...use our bodies and help our muscles grow stronger...
sing some songs...
we toured the school...
we were so patient as we waited to get in line to get our picture taken as an entire school!!
Finally it was time for snack...
we were hungry. :)
We also read a story called "The day the teacher went bananas" by James Howe. That was a fun story about when a gorilla was accidentally sent to be a substitute teacher! It was very silly.
Then it was time to get down to the business of play. The dramatic play area was a big hit...we had momma's and their kittens and babies...
the sensory table was a big hit too...the boys and girls loved filling up and dumping out the measuring cups and scoops...
we also found the magnifying glasses...we explored everything!!
puppets were found...
painting masterpieces were made...
the building area was also a popular spot...I didn't get many pictures over there though...
back outside to burn off some more energy...
we were hungry for lunch!
It was a great day full of learning experiences!
