We continue to make faces on the pumpkins!

Got out a fall harvest bingo game.  This game gives boys and girls the practice of matching, patience, taking turns, and focus.

Look at all these fun faces!!

Making letters with wooden pieces.

We counted in a cowboy voice...can you tell by the facial expression? :)

Reporting the weather and adding to the graph!

We reenacted the story of Moses, the baby in the basket. There was a bad king who sent his men out to get rid of all the Israelite baby boys.

One Mama decided to try to hide her baby so the soldiers couldn't find him.

She placed him in a basket...

and hid him in the tall grasses by the river.

His big sister, Miriam, kept watch over him.

The soldiers didn't find him.

The princess visited the river with some friends...

they heard the baby!

The big sister said, "I know someone who can help you with your baby!"

She went and got the mom!!

When the baby was all grown up the mama brought him to the palace to live with the princess.  His name was Moses. God took care of Moses, God takes care of us.

It was just a beautiful morning to build those muscles outside!

Snack helper.

Yum!!!! Time to eat!!

Mrs. Haun came in and did a fun fall poem.

Then she read us "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert.

We used the leaves that we brought in to create our own leaf people or creations!!

I can't believe the gorgeous weather we have had this time of year!! We have been trying to soak it up and spend time outdoors before it gets too cold!!!

I just love the kids' conversations. :)
