We all got right back to work after a slight break from school. :)

We watched a movie about the story of Moses and how God used Moses to set his people free!

We have been talking about the season of Fall and how leaves fall from the trees. Many of our friends brought in leaves to use to make our own leaf characters! We have read a few books about leaves...we have found out that many of the leaves we brought in were Maple leaves. Then we talked about how maple syrup comes from Maple trees!!! We watched a video about how maple syrup is collected from maple trees and boiled down into syrup.
We decided to make pancakes and our own butter while we're at it...with cream and salt and a jar. The boys and girls took turns shaking the jar!
We shook it...

and shook it...until finally it was butter!!! :)
I have real maple sirup from Funks Grove on 55. :) It's pretty tasty.
