We started off hard at work!! :)

We had an earthquake drill today...the boys and girls learned to go underneath the table while the ground is shaking...after it has stopped we count to 30 and climb out and head out the door to the field behind our classroom.  The boys and girls did wonderful!! :)

We are practicing our "If I were a Butterfly" song for church on October 10 when we sing at the 5pm service!

Lucy was our meteorologist!

Environmental print around our school we might know!

We read the story "Blueberries for Sal" by Robert McCloskey today...the story is about a mix up between a Mama and her daughter Sal and a Mama Bear and her son Little Bear...all while picking blueberries.  Then we made blueberry muffins together!  The kids really enjoyed mixing the ingredients together and helping me measure everything out!

We are still working on our "If I saw a bear..." book.  The boys and girls are making their faces if they saw a bear!

Playing in the bear den.

Two polar bear experts.
I added some dress up clothes today...the kids have such wonderful imaginations!

(Caroline's face if she saw a bear!)

Mrs. Hoehner's face if she saw a bear!!

Quite the puppet show today.

PTL gave us some new Magna Tiles today!  We share these with another class...they are just so great for the boys and girls and their fine motor skills and spatial reasoning and working together with friends...

Trying out our blueberry muffins.  Some of us liked them and some of us didn't but we all tried them!! :)  That helps at my own house...my own children are much more likely to try something if they help make it!

Then we had our weekly friday "gonoodle.com"!  The boys and girls have so much fun moving around and doing the guided dancing!  THey have great moves!

Preschool just wears us out. :)
