We had such an eventful day!
The boys and girls are practicing reading books to themselves...they are creating meaning by looking at the pictures...it is such good practice for them later on as they begin to read the text.
Today we drew panda bears to add to our bamboo forest...you'll have to come in and check them out!! The boys and girls were so proud of what they drew!
We also started a new Bible story. Joseph and his brothers...Joseph was given a new coat by his father...his brothers were jealous...we started painting a beautiful coat of many colors.
Autumn led us in counting out days of on the calendar and our pattern on the smart board.
Emily was our meteorologist...we got to add a cloudy day to our weather graph!
We had a fire drill in the middle of our naptime today...very exciting. So our friends did not get a good nap in.
