When the boys and girls came to school today they discovered that our reading center had been turned into a bear den!  We are going to focus on learning about bears for a bit...see where it takes us!

During small groups today the boys and girls were broken up into 4 groups...one worked with Mrs. Schilling to work on their expressive project...they made a bear face...practicing cutting and gluing and following directions...the next group worked with Mrs. Rouland and we worked on counting bears and putting them into their den...making sure we put the correct amount that we rolled on the dice...we also compared how many everybody had in their caves...who had the most? who had the least? (Then they got to eat them...their favorite.)

We added beans to the sensory table to dump and fill...

Added some birthday party supplies for the dramatic play area!

Mia reading to the cubs in the bear den.

Mia helped us make a sign for the bear den!

Elizabeth was our calendar helper.  I can't believe that we are already in the twenties in September!

The boys and girls are getting better at their patterning skills.

Clark was our meteorologist today!

There was a bear in the feely sock today...we had some good guesses!

Zippy came and talked to us about how God is with us and will be with us no matter where we are!!

It was a beautiful day today!!
