We used our lines and curves to make a neat design on our rug!

Puzzles are a fun way for kids to help their brains grow! When children flip, turn, remove, etc. pieces of the puzzle, they are learning the connection between their hands and their eyes. The eyes see the puzzle, and the brain then envisions how the puzzle needs to look or what piece needs to be found and placed. Then the brain, eyes, and hands work together to find the piece, manipulate it accordingly, and fit it into the puzzle accurately.

We always have many friends hard at work in the writing center.

Working on signing in!

Playing a game of "Sneaky Snacky Squirrel"!

Many creations are made before even 8:30 in the morning!!!

Our door holders and line leader hard at work.  It was a bit chilly outside this morning!

We are finishing up our book...If I saw a bear...

We lined up our teddy bears from smallest to biggest!

Danny shared a picture he brought in of his family sitting next to a bear!!

Counting down our last day of September!

Our meteorologist added another cloudy day to our weather graph!

Zippy came to talk with us about Joseph and his brothers and how Joseph forgave his brothers even though they were very unkind.

We read the book "It's the Bear!" by Jez Alborough.  It is a fun book about a bear and a picnic...

The magna tiles are a big hit in the classroom!!

In the gym we used towels to give our bears rides around and we used them to play catch and flip them up into the air!  There was some great teamwork going on between the boys and girls!!

The third graders at our school are having a lemonade stand to raise money for the Clausing family.  The Clausings are missionaries who are raising funds to travel around the world to teach other boys and girls and families about Jesus and His love for them!  All of our chapel offerings are going to help send the Clausings over seas.  One of our families donated some money so that our class could go outside and get some lemonade...it was tasty!

Just about everyone fell asleep today!!
