Monday December 14, 2015

Our gardener taking care of our plant.

So many of our friends enjoy the play dough!

Many of our friends made beautiful paintings this morning.

We figured out how to build with the lincoln logs!! :)

Our calendar helper did a great with her job this morning!

The december pattern is tricky but they are really starting to get what is happening!

The sun came out right before it was morning meeting time! So our meteorologist put another sunny day on our graph, but it's chilly so they gave mat man a coat.

It was still so wet outside we got to play in the commons! It gets a little rambunctious at times in there!  But our friends can find fun as long as they have each other!

Then...it was time for our party!

We celebrated Jesus Birthday with graham crackers and frosting...

bingo...

stick the bow on the present...

blowing the "snowball" races...

and of course no party is complete without a craft involving a lot of glue. :)

Then we played a game called musical gift...we had a present that was wrapped and when the music stopped our friend who had the present in their hands got to unwrap it.  There were 12 layers of wrapping paper!

Inside of the present we found...BABY JESUS!!!  Baby Jesus was born for us all!!!  (and also a candy cane and a pencil for everyone.)

Then it was time to get down to the business of play...a nativity painting...

a pretend christmas party...

did the hokey pokey, and chicken dance...

It was a fun day.  The boys and girls are doing a great job of following directions still and staying focused as we get closer to break...I am so proud of them and how much they have grown!
