The boys got down to work with the lincoln logs this morning. :)

Always exploring with the playdough.

We practice writing our name every day! :)

I also came into a couple view finders...the boys and girls were so curious!  It was fun to see them get so excited about something I played with as a kid! :)  I only had two of them so it was a great lesson about taking turns.

Such a wonderful calendar helper this morning. :)

Our meteorologist has to be very observant.

I was running around telling the story of Jesus birth with the little people nativity set.  The boys and girls were such good listeners.

Then we acted the whole thing out!  Here Mary and Joseph are talking to the innkeeper.

An Angel appeared to shepherds and told them about Jesus birth!

Then a whole bunch of angels appeared in the sky and sang Glory to God in the Highest!!

The shepherds found Jesus and worshipped him.

Then they went to tell others!

A shepherd costume!

Mary and Joseph and the Baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes.

I interviewed the boys and girls today for their portfolios.  They told me all about what Christmas means, and what they want for Christmas, and what they might give to someone else, it is always so fun to do these interviews and get to know them even more! (That's why there aren't a lot of pictures of everything we did today!)

It was such a gorgeous day today!
