We had a great morning!  The boys and girls played so nicely and made such good choices!

These two sorted all of my scrap paper into the correct color bin so that it is easier to use! :) I was so thankful for their help!

The boys and girls took turns reaching into the feely sock to see what our Bible story was going to be about...again...they did a great job taking turns and waiting patiently!

Some friends took turns rolling down the hill when we were outside.  It was a very cold morning!

Climbing!

The boys and girls were building towers and mouse houses!

We made cards to go with the donations for our fund raiser for kids with cancer.  The boys and girls used their finger prints to make a Christmas tree.

Making the star for the top of our tree on our door!

We practiced making letters with the wood pieces...everyone picked out some wood pieces to make a letter and we had to guess what they were going to make.

We practiced our letter O.

An angel was in the feely sock for our Bible story.  I told the boys and girls how the Angel Gabriel came to tell Mary that she was going to have a baby boy!  Jesus!

We also read a story talking about our birthday and Jesus' birthday.  They both are such special days!  It talked about how a doctor told our parents we were going to be born, and the angel Gabriel told Mary she was going to have a baby.  It also talked about how on our birthday we have cake and we are the only one that get presents, but on Jesus birthday we have special traditions and foods we ALL get to be a part of, and usually the whole family may get a present!  It talked about how God giving us His Son Jesus was the most special present and that is why presents are given to those we love at Christmas time.

It started off as a sunny day!  Mat man even needed sunglasses!

In the dramatic play area we have a house decorated for Christmas!  They have such fun imaginations!

So many of our friends made creations at the easel today!

We got to play in the gym and run around as fast as we could!

We practiced bouncing basketballs (or sitting on them).
