Happy National Lutheran Schools Week!  It's pajama day!!
It is great to be back at school today!

We have started playing on the larger playground at times!  It was so nice to go outside!  The kids really enjoy being outside as well!

We are growing in our large motor skills and are able to do so much more!

Today we reached into the feely sock and thought in our heads what it was going to be...

It was a mitten! Something we wear during the season of winter to keep our hands warm.

Mrs. Haun stopped by with her crazy slippers she wore for pajama day!  We figured out they weren't her real feet because she only had 8 toes...

We are almost done with everyone's snowball snowmen that we started last week.

I have great helpers in my class. :)

The girls were having a picnic here.

Building a "place for the animals".

Working on those snowmen! You'll have to take a look at them in the hallway, they are just fantastic!

Here we have a doctor, two nurses, and a patient.

This morning we took turns telling everyone about our pajamas!  It sure is a fun week...National Lutheran Schools Week.  We were so excited to wear our pajamas!

Calendar helper.

Meteorologist.

Our Jesus Time story was of the Ten Lepers that Jesus healed.

They saw Jesus and said "Have mercy on us!"  and Jesus healed them.  They went and showed the priests...but only one came back and told Jesus thank you!!

My hand strength isn't what it used to be...

After finding the mitten in the feely sock we talked about what a mitten was...it has two spots for your fingers and thumb and keeps your hand warm.  Then we read the story "The Mitten" by Jan Brett.  It is a folk tale about a little boy who loses his mitten and animals find the mitten and climb into it to stay warm.  It is such a great story...the kids didn't think all of the animals could fit!

We opened up a "creation station" in our classroom...full of recyclables!  I can't wait to see what the kids make!!

Painted some mittens!

We found the view finder again.  It sure is fun to see the kids enjoying things from my childhood!

We did a few gonoodle.com videos today...they really got the kids moving!!
