It was quite the busy day!
We started off being inquisitive and building confidence and working with other kids collaboratively, developing spatial reasoning, building relationships with peers...all of these things and more happen in the morning during our time before school even really begins!! These are a few of the Missouri Early Learning Standards that our Early Childhood follows when planning activities and lessons for the boys and girls.
then we headed outside for some fresh air and vitamin D. :) The kids have all been fighting colds and sore throats and runny noses and it is so important for their bodies to get some fresh air to help fight those germs off!
It really was fun to observe the boys and girls outside this morning...they have grown so much and are becoming more brave to take some more risks and try new things physically, and then find out they can be successful!! They have just grown so much. I am so proud of them.
At our creation station today...we made all sorts of things...a pet house...we finished up a boat and a worm tunnel, some trumpets were used that were made yesterday. The kids are just so imaginative and inventive!
and Zippy came to talk with us and talk about how someone who loves us...sometimes does things for us that we don't really deserve...that Jesus did something for us even though we didn't deserve or do anything for Him to do that for us. He died on the cross so that we can have our "sin-sickness" taken away...so that one day we can live with Him in heaven forever!!
