We played in the commons this morning because it was only 18 degrees!

We read the book "Snowballs" by Lois Ehlert. The boys and girls practiced their cutting skills and cut out three circles. Then added lots of different objects to create their own "snowballs" snowmen!
Painting with friends. These friends became quite creative and figured out we could splatter paint a little bit to create "snow" on their paintings! (not to mention on their faces) 
Then we headed outside for some fresh air! The ground was frozen so their wasn't any mud and we could run and run...the wind was still so it wasn't as cold either! 
Then we found some ice!! It was fun to stomp on and break! We found out it was kind of slippery too!
Our calendar helper had to write a few numbers this morning!!
During Jesus time we read the story of when John the Baptist baptized Jesus!!
