This mornings Donuts for Dads was a huge success!!  It was so fun to see all of the dads and children having so much fun.

We had a few grandpas come too!!
Those donuts sure were yummy!!

Then on to chapel!  Dads get to sit with our class during chapel! Here we are...

and over here...we lost our regular seats and got split up but that's okay!

Pastor Rouland led us in chapel talking about being a dad and helping us to remember that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us so much.

Then we bundled up and headed outside!

It was cold.

But we had been indoors for two days and needed a bit of fresh air.

We tried to stay out of the snow. :)

I bought some delicious treats from this establishment. :)

We put some snow in a container and marked the level where the the snow began...we figured out it would melt because it is warmer inside than outside.  We will see what happens as the day goes on.

For our portfolios we are creating a gingerbread person masterpiece.  It is always so fun to listen to the kids as they are talking about what they are creating!  "I'm adding a bow to my gingerbread...mine's a girl.  This is my mom when she was a little girl."

"Mine needs a belt and this is the part on the middle of batman that makes him strong." (I think they were talking about batman's abs on his costume.)

Lots of pretend play today as well!

And sensory play! We buried a ton of stuff in the rice and then found it again!

Making some coffee for his guests.

Building a bridge for his cars.

Look at this spread!

Just talking on the phone.

We have such creative minds in our class!

Putting the snow in our container!

One more time to read "The Snowy Day".

Working on our Snowy Day Artwork!

Robot Arms.

Checking out our snow in the container!! It has melted!!

Our Calendar helper...
