Oh the possibilities of play-dough!!!  The boys and girls who chose to work with the play-dough this morning worked together to make numbers.

Lots of teamwork going on here.

Coloring in the morning requires focus. :)

Nice practice of hand-eye coordination, problem solving, and shape recognition.

We spent extra time outside today...it was just such a gorgeous morning.  With the weather supposed to be turning cold this weekend...it was really hard to take the kids in!

Our artists at the easel.

Working with those planks!

We have a loose parts station going on right now...

the boys and girls could explore at this station for such a long time!

Our last Snowy Day art projects underway...check them out in the hallway!

We are using our creativity to make gingerbread men for our portfolios.  Some of the boys and girls enjoyed this so much they have made multiple gingerbread people for theirs!

Creating cakes for a birthday celebration!!

It's growing!!

Our calendar helper this morning!

The meteorologist!

We took a trip from Nazareth (where Jesus grew up) to Jerusalem...it is a long trip and Mary and Joseph and Jesus had to walk there!

Once there for the Passover Feast we went to the temple and learned about God's love...

then we left and realized we didn't have Jesus with us...

we had to walk all the way back and we found him in the temple!!! He said...didn't you know I'd be in my Father's house?

Since we had a longer time outside we had to eat our snack in our room...but we got the special treat of watching a movie...it is a movie based on Raymond Brigg's book "The Snowman".

These kids sure can create and use their imaginations!!
