Our Monday morning started with the boys and girls giving me a name sample for the their portfolios. They really have come a long way!
Some friends also worked together to create some fun tape art.
Of course we always have our social colorers. :)
The calendar helper created a fun pattern today!
The meteorologist relayed the information that it is just a lovely day with a high of 81 degrees!!!
Our Bible Story this week is the story of Jesus' return to heaven...His ascension!
Then we headed outdoors to build our muscles!
During small groups today the boys and girls created a simple self portrait...they all took their time and drew the things that they see...many added various details that they noticed in the pictures we took of them!
Another group worked on letter recognition and formation in shaving cream. This is one of the kids favorite.
The third group created designs with the pattern blocks.
Then during free choice the kids had a ball. Elaborate dinners were served.
Tunnels were made for balls to go through.
Journals were filled.
Masterpieces were created.
The kids are just fantastic table cleaners. :) 
After free choice we counted the eggs in the estimation jar. We had some very close guesses...but no one got the spot on number this time. :) Didn't get any pictures of this though.
Then we headed outside to enjoy the sunshine.
Look at all the dandelions that they found!
It was a very fun day.
