We started a collaborative work of art with tape and cardboard.
Still signing in for the month of April for our portfolios so we can see how far we have come!

We read our story from the Bible this morning about Jesus going back to heaven. Then Zippy came and talked with us about how the disciples might of felt sad and happy that Jesus was in heaven and not with them physically. We also talked about how Jesus is always with us even though we can't see him.
Then we drew the first two stages of the butterfly's metamorphosis...the egg and the caterpillar. We didn't get to observe the caterpillars when they were in the eggs we had to look at pictures and see the model that we have to get an idea as what to draw.
Then we headed out to move our bodies.

Taking a water break...we take our water bottles outside because we get hot and thirsty playing so hard.
During small groups today we drew self portraits...
practiced our letters...
made designs in pattern blocks...
and read stories.
Everyone got a chance to go to each group.

Outside we found a caterpillar!
We tried to feed it.
It survived our curiosity.
