Wednesday April 13, 2016

This morning we took turns telling our classmates our favorite thing to play or activity to do while we are outside.

They did such a lovely job listening and waiting their turn.  They really have have grown in their self regulation skills!

Then we headed outside to move before chapel.

Mrs. Hoehner led us in chapel today.  She taught us a new song about Jesus rising from the tomb!!

Then she talked about the different jobs that we can grow up to be.

But we have a job that we can do now...we can "Go and make disciples!"  We can share the love of Jesus to everyone we meet! We don't have to grow up to do this job!

We took the long way back to our classroom to avoid the congestion of others classes but we saw some gorgeous flowers planted around Zion's campus.  The boys and girls get so excited to discover and explore...we even smelled a few of the different plants!

We found so many treasures outside today!

Read a few books before snack.

We ate in our classroom and had a special snack for one of our classmate's birthday!

One of our friends brought in lilacs for our classroom!!!  They made the entire room smell so lovely!

We had many different kinds of seeds the boys and girls sorted using tweezers and building their fine motor skills.

Built some creations.

Played house.

Painted masterpieces.

A kite!!!

One of our friends was the photographer for a little bit and documented goings on around the room for a few minutes...here is the classroom from her perspective.

 Here is a shoe house...

and a castle.

Sorting the seeds...building those fine motor!!
