We are still having so much fun with the colored tape!
Exploring yesterday's treasures!
Our spring visitors!!! We have caterpillars in our classroom that we will continue to observe and see how the metamorphosis takes place!
Our calendar helper made a lovely pattern today!!
It is a warm warm day!!
Then we decided to act out our story from the Bible this week. 
The disciples were in a boat...fishing...all night. They didn't catch a thing.
They saw a man on the shore!
He called to them..."Have you caught anything?" "No!" they replied. The man said, "Try the other side of your boat!"
So they tried the other side of the boat and their nets were full!!!!
Peter (one of Jesus disciples) said "That man is Jesus!" and jumped out of the boat and swam to shore.
The rest of the disciples came to shore and Jesus made them breakfast. 
We had so much fun outdoors today!

We came back from snack and read the story "My Garden" by Kevin Henkes. It is one of my favorite stories. The little girl imagines her own garden full of jelly bean bushes and unusual things popping up like umbrellas and buttons. We are writing pages to our own My Garden book!
Many of our friends were reenacting the story from the Bible that we learned this week.
Lots of flower paintings as well!
For the portfolio page this week the boys and girls drew a grid and placed fish stickers on the grid, while retelling the story from the Bible that we have learned this week. I was watching pencil grip, how they drew their lines, and to see if they could retell the story.
Lots of pretending today. 
Still catching fish, it was just so fun!
