We made happy and sad faces today and held up the face that disciples might have been feeling at different times...when Jesus was crucified and died...when they found out he rose...when they met on the beach...when he went back to heaven...when they found out Jesus would come again some day!
Lots of big body play this morning...climbing, running, jumping, chasing, racing.
We read a story called "the Earth book" by Todd Parr. It talked about ways that we can help to take care of the earth that God has given to us so that it can last as long as we're here. :)
Then we strengthened our fine motor skills by practicing our cutting and glueing skills. Doing this also helps to strengthen our eye hand coordination. The boys and girls cut apart a picture and tried to glue it back down in to recreate the picture.
We finished up our self portraits! Check them out...the boys and girls did a wonderful job drawing what they saw in the picture of themselves.
Lots of creative thinking and problem solving and gaining of social skills happened today during free choice. You sure have great kids! :)
